Left:
Nice cloud of cigarette smoke in the upper left of the picture. It looks like a cloud and not typical cigarette smoke , as seen below. These first three photos are from Kathy.
Left:
This is more typical looking smoke from a cigarette. Usually it streams, and will have sharper and thinner bends within it (such as in the next photo).
Well defined vapor trails from ectoplasm usually are thicker and look like something travelled around and left tracks...not just swirly smoke. (See the next photo for comparison.)
Left:
Paula sent us this true ectoplasm picture some time ago. See the distinct vapor trails which ectoplasm will contain? This is an extreme example.
Left:
The next six photos from Kathy reveal how human breath appears in cold weather. You will notice little or no vapor trails. Breath usually appears only on one side or the other.
Left:
Notice how the exhaled breath created a cloud of vapor that appears to be far away from the camera. Sometimes, the person taking pictures will never see the vapor cloud; but the camera does!
Left:
This exhaled cloud appears to have a face in the center of it, looking to the left. Do you see it? Yet, it is only human breath and nothing ghostly.
The "orbs" in the next three photos are actually snow flakes reflecting the camera's flash.
The "mist" is actually breath from the camera operator.
