My mother had to move out of our old home, to my grandmother and grandfather's place in
the winter, for six months. During that time, I met with the town psychic who would usually
tell me a lot about my self...and other things about me. She had told me about a man who
was watching over me. This really scared me, so I told my mother; and she said I needed
to keep away from her. That's when odd things would happen. Objects in my
grandmother's house would fly across the room; doors would slam, with no draft or other
person about. One night I came face to face with a ghost. I woke up in fear, hearing a
really odd noise in my room, and looked around to find a faint outline of a figure standing at
the foot of my bed. It seemed to nod at me in approval, then faded away. Later, my
mother told me a friend of her's (who cared for me when I was little), had died in a car
crash while trying to reach me over the phone.
