An angel story sent

Ghosts !!
I'm 48 years old now and I will never
forget what happened to me when I was 11 years old. The memory of this is as
vivid as the day it happened and not one day
has gone by
in my life that I have not thought of this.
I lived in Southern California with my mother and
stepfather. My stepfather was a very abusive and evil man. I prayed
every night for God to protect my mother and myself from him. He tried to
drown me
in our swimming
pool once and he always threatened to beat me with a board from the back yard
that had nails in it. He said many times that
he would kill me one day. I was so terrified of him that I
spent
a lot of time hiding from him daily.
One summer afternoon, I was alone in my bedroom. My mother was in the
kitchen cooking and my stepfather was not at home. I was sitting on my bed
coloring in a coloring book. All of a sudden, I looked up and I saw a very
tall, beautiful man standing in the doorway to my bedroom. He did not
speak to
me, he just looked at me in a very peaceful and knowing
way. He was about seven feet tall. He was so tall in fact, that he
had to bend down slightly under the doorway to look at me. He had short,
blond, curly hair and wore a long white robe with a gold rope type belt. He wore
sandals on his feet. He appeared to be about 20 to 25 years old. He
was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Light seemed to radiate from
his face. He smiled at
me and suddenly disappeared.
I instantly knew that this was an angel and probably my guardian
angel. I knew that he had been sent by God to protect me and my
mother. Shortly after this, my mother divorced my stepfather and we moved
away. I have never forgotten my angel but I have never seen him
since. I have longed and wished to see him every day of my life,
but I know that he is always with me and I will see him again one
day.
