Marsha Mathieu of Virginia sent us two pictures which have captured white mists in them.  Was there
someone hanging around the young girl in the first photo?  Could be, as this wasn't a camera strap:  

"This was taken inside of her house, no smoking and with a 35mm camera."

Below:  "My son took this picture at a local cemetery.  The night was clear, no
smoking and he used a 35mm camera.  When enlarging it you can see many
faces and a cat sitting on the fence and a couple of dogs. "
