The Myrtles Plantation is famous for haunting. Recently, Renee Hinze sent us this creepy ghost picture of what may be an apparition or shadow figure in human form. When we attempted to lighten it in order to see details, we were unsuccessful. Is it a ghost? Here's Renee's story:
"(It looks like a) shadow figure carrying a lantern. No statue there. Nobody was in the area when I took that picture. It was just my cousin and me out there at the time..."
Looking at the human form, we were attempting to see if it could have been a person standing there. We couldn't get enough details by lightening or adjusting the contrast of the image. The shape does appear to be a female wearing a coat.
